Global Climate Blog

The Medieval Warm Period was a time of warm climate in the North Atlantic Region and other regions around the world from about 950 to 1250 AD. During this period, colonization took over and people started spreading into the greenland parts of North America. These people began to produce larges amounts of farm land and livestock. The farming outbreak spread throughout the country during this warmer period. The Medieval Warm Period was followed by a cooler period called the Little Ice Age. The little ice age occurred 1550 and 1850 AD. This caused many parts of the environments to die. The farming and livestock were greatly impacted and caused them both to slow down tremendously.

Air Quality Blog

Banning-Airport Riverside

The Banning Airport is located in California, right outside of Palm Springs. The Pollution comes from all of the planes coming in and out of the airport, along with all of the busses and car that go to the airport. This is a very large airport and is heavily populated throughout the year. The planes let out large amounts of Carbon Dioxide into the air when they take off. The Banning airport can get very humid which doesn't help with the pollution in the air at all. Airports are some of the largest sources of air pollution in the United States. The Airport runway congestion contributes significantly to local pollution levels and contemporaneous health of residents living nearby and downwind from airports. The Banning Airport air quality is awful and needs to be resolved.
